Fans responds to Alan Ritchson’s reaction on Donald Trump.
Alan Ritchson is a fan-favorite actor and a muscle-packed behemoth getting more popular every day. Ritchson cracked the jackpot to forge his name with Prime Video’s hit show Reacher, and secured several movie projects including Fast X, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and a few more but his goal remained the same— to be the next Batman.

It is unsure if DC’s James Gunn and Peter Safran or Warner Brothers will respond to his call alongside the fans on the internet but he has been Batmanesque in his real life as well. Ritchson is particularly vocal about injustice and corruption as he often raises awareness for it. Now, the actor has voiced against former United States President, Donald Trump joining a long line of celebrities who have shared their utter dissatisfaction against Trump.

While speaking of Christians, the actor critiqued Trump, quite harshly. “Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do,” he said (via The Hollywood Reporter). In its essence, the actor further explained that it pains his heart to see some Christians aligning with Trump. On Trump, he said:
“Trump is a r*pist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treating him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal. I don’t understand it.”
Ritchson’s frustration also aligns with several Hollywood celebrities including industry veterans, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Robert De Niro, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Stiller, Samuel L. Jackson, (per Harper Bazaar), and more.

Ritchson as Batman? Fans can certainly see the actor in the suit of the Dark Knight of Gotham. Following Snyderverse Batman, Ben Affleck’s departure from DC Studios after James Gunn took over DC with Peter Safran, the slot for a Batman actor is yet to be filled. And there is far less of a chance for Robert Pattinson to join the mainline DC as Batman from his ‘elsewhere’ movie.
Ritchson was in the mix of the hype after the actor openly revealed that he would very much want to play the Caped Crusader. “I would love to play Batman. There, I said it, OK? I’ll shout it from the rooftops! I want to be Bruce Wayne!” he previously told THR. Following his comments on Trump, many fans see him as Batman as well.
Ritchson has immense love for the DC superhero. “Here’s the thing about Batman. You know what his superpower is? Intelligence,” he told the outlet. “Dude is the smartest superhero there is. He’s inventive, and he’s got all the gadgets. But he’s super smart.” One day Gunn might see his Bat Signal to cast him for the titular role in the new DC.
