Margot Robbie fans have gone wild for the news that she is set to produce a live action version of beloved computer game, The Sims.
They have branded the crossover between Margot and the game, which has proved to be one of the most popular of all time, as a ‘genius’ move for her.
Fans have begged for her to include one particular detail in the film, which is for her to create a scene where the swimming pool ladders are removed.
The Sims players will know that it was one of the only ways to ‘kill’ their character if they wanted to get rid of them from the game, removing the ladder to make it impossible for them to get out of the water before the eventually drown.
Others have asked if they will include iconic characters Bella Goth and the Grim Reaper, who would appear on screen at the end of a Sim’s life.

Reacting to the news online, fans said: ‘Margot Robbie in the new Sims movie??? This will be epic.’
‘Margot Robbie and the Sims??? It can’t be bad’ and ‘there’s only a few people I would trust to somehow make a Sims movie and Margot is one of them’.

Margot‘s surprising new move was revealed following the phenomenal and record-breaking success of her Barbie movie.
She starred in the top-grossing film of 2023 as the famous Mattel doll, and is now set to take on the live-action project as she hopes to continue the success.
Margot will be producing a movie based on the long-running video game series The Sims, with few details about the exciting new project currently known.
Margot will be producing the movie through her LuckyChap Entertainment production company, which she established in 2014 alongside her husbandΒ Tom Ackerley.
It is set to be directed by Kate Herron, who has worked behind-the-scenes on hit TV shows including Loki and Sex Education, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
