Zendaya joked about being treated like art at the Louvre!

"I'm also one of these art pieces you are going to take pictures of": Zendaya's Most Badass Response When She Was Warned About Her Louvre Visit With Tom Holland

Imagine being so famous that you’re considered a museum exhibit yourself! Well, that was the reality for Zendaya! Recently, the actress opened up about a time when she and her boyfriend, Tom Holland, were warned against visiting the Louvre because their presence would cause a crowd frenzy.

The Louvre is the world’s most-visited art museum, with over 10 million visitors each year. Not only is it world-famous, but it’s also the world’s largest museum, with a collection that spans over 800,000 square feet.

Having been built in the 12th century, it houses some of the world’s most iconic works of art, including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace.

Zendaya’s Fearless Reaction to Louvre-Visit Warning

In October 2022, Zendaya decided to take a trip to the Louvre in Paris with her boyfriend, Tom Holland. But the romantic date (as it turned out) almost didn’t happen!

The Dune: Two star opened up to Vogue magazine that they were actually told not to go to the Louvre because their presence might cause chaos in an already busy place.

But guess what? The two didn’t let that stop them, and they visited anyway. Zendaya called it “one of the coolest experiences ever.” While the initial attention might have been overwhelming, she maintained a positive attitude. She jokingly compared herself to the museum’s art pieces, acknowledging the inevitable public interest. The 27-year-old said:

“You just kind of get used to the fact that, Oh, I’m also one of these art pieces you’re going to take a picture of. I just gotta be totally cool with it and just live my life.”

When big-name stars like Zendaya and Holland decide to visit a famous spot like the Louvre, things can get complicated. Museum officials were concerned their presence might create chaos, disrupting others’ experiences. But it all turned out fine.

Zendaya and Tom Holland Received a Private After-Hour Tour From the Louvre

In a surprising turn of events, the museum offered Zendaya and Tom Holland a special perk: a private tour after closing hours. This exclusive experience allowed them to appreciate the Louvre’s collection in peace, akin to a scene straight out of the movie Night at the Museum.

The Spider-Man star opted for a striped sweat shirt with its sleeves neatly rolled up and tucked in, while Zendaya sported a stylish blouse dress paired with a trendy set of glasses.

Even though they were warned about potential chaos, the couple went ahead with their visit to the Louvre. And just as predicted, their arrival caused a huge stir on social media. Photos of them posing in front of the famous Mona Lisa spread like wildfire online.
