While speaking to Virgin Radio, Denis Villeneuve discussed casting Florence Pugh in Dune: Part Two. He revealed that he told Florence Pugh he would introduce her character in the second film and that if there was a Dune: Messiah adaptation, then she would become one of the main characters.
“I said: Listen I want you to gamble with me. I will introduce your character in Part Two. And if there’s a ‘DUNE – MESSIAH’ adaptation, then you will be one of the main characters.”
Florence Pugh portrays the role of Princess Irulan in Dune: Part and we will have to wait and see whether fans will get to see Dune: Messiah get adapted someday, as fans would love to see that happen as well.
