In the film, Sweeney had a minor role as the character of Dianne Lake. One of the youngest members of the Manson Family, Lake joined the cult when she was 14. There are several minor scenes of the Euphoria actress in the film and in an interview with Chicks in the Office (via Far Out Magazine), here’s what the actress had to say about the 2019 film.

“I was freaking out because I felt so stupid. Because in so many interviews, I was like, ‘I love Leonardo DiCaprio.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, I hope he’s never seen anything that I’ve said.’ I was like, ‘Oh my god, I feel so embarrassed right now, but I doubt he even knows who I am,’”

As her career flourished, the actress recently starred in the film Immaculate. Being a horror film, Sweeney has quite a vivid experience to tell as the actress talked about how the film came to be and a famous scene that she wanted to have in the film.

With an ensemble cast that includes Alvaro Morte (El Professor from Money Heist), Sydney Sweeney starred in the iconic 2024 film Immaculate. Working alongside director Michael Mohan, Sweeney revealed in an interview with EW how the filming of the horror movie went.

I am a big fan of all types of horror genres, and I really wanted something that had a bit of a mixture of everything. I love jump scares, so I pushed for a lot of jump scares in the movie.”

She further continued,

My big thing was, by the end of the movie, I just wanted to be drenched in blood. I love those moments where, at the end of the film, you have the female badass that just went through the wringer and takes it all at the end.

In the end, Sydney Sweeney’s Immaculate received a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDB and an average of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes (which is pretty good for a horror movie). With a budget of $9 million, the 2024 film is currently screening in select theaters around the world for people to see.
