Has Margot Robbie gone under the knife? Inside Barbie star's glamorous transformation from baby-faced soap actor to Oscars siren

She’s been hailed as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women.

And Margot Robbie, 33, certainly maintained her title as she stepped on the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Once a little-known soap star, the Australian actress looked right at home among fellow A-list beauties as she posed in an archival Versace gown.

However a look back at her formative years show how Margot has undergone a very glamorous transformation since her days playing Donna Freedman on Neighbours.

Margot once sported a baby face, but her visage has become more contoured and defined over the years.

This has led fans to question whether the blonde has simply lost weight or secretly undergone cosmetic surgery to sharpen her features.

While Margot has never spoken about undergoing any cosmetic work, this hasn’t stopping fans from weighing in.

In 2022, cosmetic procedure influencer Dana Omari Harrell speculated that Margot had undergone a dramatic makeover ahead of filming the Barbie movie.

Appearing on The Dream Bigger Podcast with Siffat Haider, Dana said she was convinced Margot had received a range of procedures.

This included an upper blepharoplasty, a surgical operation that can correct dropping eyelids and make eyes look bigger by removing extra fat in the area.

Dana doubled down on her belief in an Instagram post in July 2023, also adding that Margot may have received undereye filler, a small eyebrow lift, cheek augmentation, lip filler, and a rhinoplasty to thin her nasal tip and reduce her nostril width.

Dana claimed Margot may also have had buccal fat removal, a procedure that is used to hollow out the cheeks and therefore enhance the cheekbones, as well as filler added to the chin to give her jawline extra length.

To top it off, Dana speculated that Margot uses minimal Botox to smooth out her fine lines, while still giving the actress enough movement in her face.

In February 2020, a leading cosmetic clinic revealed that Margot’s face was the most requested when women came in for non-surgical procedures.

The Private Clinic in London found the Australian actress’ looks to be the most desirable after surveying their clients, with Margot picking up 18 per cent of their public vote.

Speaking to Get The Gloss, a spokesperson from The Private Clinic said people requesting Margot’s look when they come in for a visit represents a turn in the tide in what women want.

‘The highest-ranked female celebrities tended to favour natural beauty, [and] are showcasing glowing skin and radiant faces rather than an overly dramatic or enhanced appearance,’ they said.
