We have taken a look at some of the most powerful and lovely Hollywood couples’ love stories.

Love was in the air during Super Bowl LVIII over the weekend, as Travis Kelce picked up a Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs in front of The Eras Tour star Taylor Swift, who couldn’t stop celebrating her beau’s triumph. Usher, meanwhile, married longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea hours after headlining the halftime show.

The entertainment world, and Hollywood in particular, has always redefined what it means to be couple goals. As such, on this Valentine’s Day, we have decided to shed light on five Hollywood power couples’ love stories to give you plenty of ideas for your own relationships. Watch and learn!

1. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Starting our list strong with ever so lovely and hilarious couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The pair first met on the set of Green Lantern (the movie they still mock at every possible opportunity) in 2010. The DC movie didn’t work, but it did pave the way for their adorable relationship.

At the time, Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson and Lively was going out with Penn Badgley. However, they ended their respective relationships by the end of the year before starting seeing each other. Their bond grew stronger so swiftly that they tied the knot in 2012.

Apart from sharing four children, Lively and Reynolds have set the standard of a healthy relationship by frequently (and respectfully) pulling each other’s legs publicly. Most recently, the Deadpool & Wolverine star joked on Instagram by questioning where his wife was – even though the actress had been shown enjoying the Super Bowl multiple times on TV.

2. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

‘Bennifer’ is the definition of a power couple. Hollywood superstar Ben Affleck and pop icon Jennifer Lopez‘s rollercoaster romance has been grabbing the headlines since the early 2000s.

Lopez (54) and Affleck (51) first started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli. After a two-year-long romance, which became a huge subject of paparazzi interest, they walked their separate ways. The On The Floor singer married Marc Anthony and Affleck eloped with Jennifer Garner.

More than 15 years later, they rekindled their romance before tying the knot in Las Vegas in 2022. In November of the same year, Lopez was asked by Vogue which project she would want to make a sequel to. She replied with a smile, “Gigli.”

3. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher crossed paths in the late ’90s on the sets of That ‘70s Show. They played on-again, off-again couple Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso, but it would take more than a decade and a much-talked-about marriage between Kutcher and Demi Moore in-between before they got romantically involved off-camera.

The couple started making public appearances together in 2012 before getting engaged two years later. In 2014, they became parents to daughter Wyatt Isabelle. A year later, they formally became husband and wife before welcoming son Dimitri Portwood.

They recently reunited on camera by making a cameo appearance as their That ‘70s Show characters on That ’90s Show (2023).

4. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Every Barbie loved Ken this summer, but Ken has all his focus on Eva Mendes since 2011 when they first met while filming The Place Beyond the Pines.

After winning over millions of hearts with their chemistry in the crime drama, they caught everyone’s attention through their PDA at Disneyland, in Hollywood, and then in Paris. Just a few years later, the pair welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda. Two years later in 2016, they had their second daughter, Amada.

While Gosling has attracted plenty of camera flashes due to his success in the industry in the last decade, the couple has kept their relationship and family life away from the spotlight.

5. Zendaya and Tom Holland

Everyone finds the friends-to-lovers story wholesome, and the reactions to Zendaya and Tom Holland’s relationship is no different. The youngest couple (and relationship) on the list started off as friends, meeting on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Their fans instantly recognized the special on and off-screen chemistry between MJ and Peter.

However, Zendaya and Holland didn’t confirm anything until 2021, when the latter shared a lovely tribute for his co-star on Instagram for her 25th birthday. The caption of his Spider-Man-related post read: “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx.”

Since then, they’ve gushed over each other in different interviews and made multiple public appearances side by side. Recently, Holland revealed (via Extra) that every now and then, he and Zendaya watch Spider-Man: Homecoming and reminisce about being 19 and making those films again.
