The sophomore season and second semester of Netflix’s XO, Kitty is here, with new and familiar faces returning for one Song Covey sister’s particular brand of chaos.
Winter break has passed, and Katherine, who goes by Kitty, has been allowed back to the Korean International School of Seoul, where she ventured in Season 1 a) to eliminate the distance between her and her boyfriend at the time Dae and b) to follow in her mom’s footsteps and learn more about Eve Song, who died when Kitty and her sisters were young. Since the end of last season, relationship dynamics have changed, and Kitty is no longer with Dae. She is not done exploring her family secrets either.

Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey (Anna Cathcart)
Katherine Song Covey, “Kitty” to her friends, first appeared in the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy based on Jenny Han’s best-selling books. She is the youngest Song Covey sister, whose older sisters are Margot (Janel Parrish) and Lara Jean (Lana Condor). Kitty gets her own adventure and spotlight on her love life in XO, Kitty which is a spinoff of the films.
Anna Cathcart has appeared in Descendants 3 (2019) as Dizzy Tremaine and Odd Squad as Agent Olympia.
Quincy “Q” Shabazian (Anthony Keyvan)
Quincy, who goes by “Q,” is one of Kitty’s ex-boyfriend Dae’s roommates, and one of her now best friends. She confides in him about everything. Q is the star track athlete of KISS.
Anthony Keyvan played Rahim in Love, Victor and he also appeared as Nathan in Alexa & Katie. He also appeared in The Rookie.
Dae-hon Kim (Mineyong Choi)
Dae Kim met Kitty when she and her sisters and dad visited Seoul, South Korea, on a trip for their Spring Break. Season 2 finds him singing his heart out and moving on from dating Kitty after she came to KISS to be with him and to follow in her late mom Eve’s footsteps, scholarship and all.
Minyeong Choi did not portray the Dae Kitty met in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: Always and Forever (2021), but he previously appeared in Entertainer, Mr. Sunshine and W.
Yuri Han (Gia Kim)
Yuri Han is the daughter of hotel magnate Mr. Han and Principal Lim (Yunjin Kim). She is known for her style and fashion, and in Season 1, she pretended to be dating Dae so that her mother wouldn’t sniff out that she was dating Julianna (Regan Aliyah). Kitty had feelings for Yuri at one point too.
Gia Kim has also appeared in the short film Happy Ending (2021) and in Burning Questions. She and Sang Heon Lee are sister and brother. She is older than him.
Min Ho Moon (Sang Heon Lee)
Min Ho is another of Dae’s best friends and roommates. He is the son of a well-known actress and a talent manager, Mr. Moon (Philippe Lee). He and Kitty couldn’t stand each other at first, but by the end of Season 2, they might be something more.
Sang Heon Lee appeared as Ha Joon in Secret Ingredient and as Joo-Hwan Lee in Gran Turismo (2023).
Julianna Porter (Regan Aliyah)
Julianna is Yuri’s girlfriend, and she got sent to Oakham, an entirely different school, in Season 1 because she and Yuri were caught embracing. Julianna’s a very talented artist.
Aliyah will appeare in Marvel’s upcoming Ironheart, and she has previously appeared in Please Don’t Feed the Children (2024) and BF for Hire (2020).
Mihee Yoon (Sunny Oh) & Eunice Kang (Han Bi Ryu)
Eunice and Mihee are Yuri’s friends, and they act like groupies sometimes. Eunice is competitive and ambitious, and she can sing too. She and Mihee are also good friends with Madison Miller (Jocelyn Shelfo).
Han Bi Ryu has appeared in Come and Hug Me, Cheer Up, Mr. Lee and Local Hero.
Alex Finnerty (Peter Thurnwald)
Professor Finnerty taught chemistry in Season 1. He also coaches track and field. He was adopted by Australian parents, but his real parents are Jina Lim and Professor Lee.
Peter Thurnwald has previously appeared in the shows Bump, Players and Young Rock.
Madison Miller (Jocelyn Shelfo)
Madison Miller is the daughter of a business associate of Yuri’s father. She got into KISS because Principal Lim pulled some strings for her, and she has fully embraced Korean culture. She and Min Ho had a bit of a thing for each other last semester in Season 1.
Jocelyn Shelfo also plays Marisa in The Summer I Turned Pretty. She played Sofia in May December (2023).
Professor Now Principal Lee (Michael K. Lee)
Professor Lee taught English in Season 1, and now he is principal at KISS. He is Alex’s father, and he loves to play guitar and once dreamed of pursuing music.
Michael K. Lee has appeared in Vanishing (2021), A Korean Odyssey, George Takei’s Allegiance (2016) and more.
Stella (Audrey Huynh)
Stella is not all that she seems. She has an ulterior motive for coming to KISS. She is from Pepperpike, Ohio and very religious.
Audrey Huynh has appeared in an episode of Squid Game, as Rammy in Murder of a Cat (2014), as Becca in Wyrm (2019) and as a trick or treater in The Terror of Hallow’s Eve.
Praveena (Sasha Bhasin)
parents most definitely work with the CIA.
Bhasin appeared as Tina Baxter in Brave the Dark (2023) and will be seen in Max’s The Pitt as Nandi.
Jin (Joshua Hyunho Lee)
Jin is Q’s rival athlete on the track, and he also has history with Dae and Min Ho because he used to make fun of Dae and also steal Min Ho’s products. Jin joined the cast in Season 2.
Joshua Lee has appeared in the Gangnam Project as Supreme and in the short films Sorry You Have to See This and The Martyr of Hudson Yards.
Peter Kavinsky
Noah Centineo made a cameo appearance as Peter Kavinsky, reprising his role form the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before films, in episode 6 of Season 2 of XO, Kitty.
Noah Centineo has also headlined his own Netflix series The Recruit, Season 2 of which arrives Jan. 30. He is known for Sarah Burgess Is A Loser (2018), The Perfect Date (2019) and Black Adam (2022) in which he plays Atom Smasher. He also played Dylan in Dream Scenario (2023) and he will soon be seen in Alex Garland’s next film Warfare.
Mr. Moon (Philippe Lee)
Young Moon is a talent manager whom many people call the Kris Jenner of Korea. He is Min Ho’s father, and he plays a significant role at KISS in Season 2.
