Gavin Casalegno surprised fans by announcing his wedding to girlfriend Cheyanne with a slew of pictures from the ceremony on his Instagram handle.
Gavin Casalegno, popularly known for playing Jeremiah in the web series The Summer I Turned Pretty, is now married. The actor surprised fans by announcing his wedding to girlfriend Cheyanne on Wednesday. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram, uploading a series of photos from their outdoor wedding. “Forever captivated by you,” Gavin Casalegno wrote alongside the dreamy pictures.
In the pictures, Gavin Casalegno can be seen wearing a black suit, standing under a rose-covered arch, and looking ecstatic as he sees his bride. Cheyanne is seen wearing a strapless wedding gown with sheer white sleeves and a tulle train hanging from over her neckpiece. She accessorised her look with a large necklace and matching earrings. One snapshot from the scenic altar shows the newlyweds kissing, while another shot shows the people seated in front of the altar as the couple exchanges wedding vows.
The news of the actor’s marriage came as a surprise to his fans. One of them expressed, “wow , you got married! I’m stunned and so happy for you at the same time. I wish both of you all the happiness, health and prosperity in the world, God bless you,” while another exclaimed, “okay hard launch.”
The couple had kept their relationship relatively private for a long time. Gavin had a six-year romance with model Larsen Thompson that ended in August 2022, before meeting Cheyanne.
Meanwhile, the second season of Summer I Turned Pretty released last year featuring Gavin Casalegno. Speaking about the third season of the series, the actor had told Entertainment Tonight, “I think everyone is excited for season 3. To finish the story — at least what Jenny’s vision is — I think that’ll be super fun. I think we’re all looking forward to just being back together. We always have so much fun on the beaches, playing volleyball, going to cool restaurants, and trying out new spots. We’re excited to get back together.”
Based on author Jenny Han’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of the same name, the second season started airing on July 14, 2023 with new episodes every week and ended in August 2023. The first season premiered in July 2022 and both the seasons can be streamed on Prime Video.
