This Morning and Big Brother star Josie Gibson took to social media to share an update with her followers, revealing that she had been rushed to hospital
This Morning’s stand-in host, Josie Gibson, 40, has revealed on her Instagram Story that she had to make an unexpected trip to the hospital this afternoon. The reason for her visit remains undisclosed, leaving followers in suspense as to whether it was due to a personal injury or if she was accompanying someone else.
She shared a snapshot of directions to the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinics and a Trauma Assessment Unit, captioning it with: “You couldn’t even make it up”. Set to the tune of Mazzy Star’s Cry Cry, the post left fans awaiting further updates.
Josie, who has previously spoken about her health issues including tonsillitis and sleep paralysis, is yet to provide any additional information regarding her hospital visit. This news comes just before the launch of her new show, Around the World in First Class, set to debut on Channel 5 later this week.
The three-part series will see Josie experiencing first-class travel across various countries including Grenada, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates.

In a teaser, she revealed: “More and more of us are splashing out on once-in-a-lifetime trips and the travel companies can’t wait to have us. But is it worth the added expense? And how do you bag yourself a bargain?” She also shared in the clip posted on social media: “Luckily I’m prepared to get out there and find out exactly what you get for your cash,” reports the Mirror.
Upon discussing her new show role, Josie recently admitted thinking the offer was a joke at first, stating: “When I got the call, I thought this cannot be real. I thought it was a wind-up. I think it took me less than a second to say yes. If somebody had told the younger me that one day this would be my life, I would never have been able to believe it in a million years.”
She further mentioned: “It is better than I ever could have dreamed of. I don’t even want to sugar coat it – I’m jealous of me.”
