Callum Kerr, who’s Scottish and into acting, playing music, and modeling, takes on the role of young Everett in Virgin River‘s Season 6. This season goes back in time to the 1970s to tell us more about Mel’s parents, Sarah and Everett. It’s a backstory for the characters everyone loves.
Callum gets into Everett’s groove, showing us that his character loves to travel and write songs. He’s got a love affair with Sarah, played by Jessica Rothe, and their love story is a wild ride. Callum Kerr, who came into the world as Andrew Callum Kerr on the 11th of May, 1994, is a proud Musselburgh, Scotland native. He started out aiming for a finance degree and even had a job at a law office, but his heart was really in the arts.
So, he packed up and moved to the big city of London to get theater training. He picked up modeling gigs along the way for brands like Jaguar and Adidas, and he started getting acting parts on British TV shows like Doctors and Hollyoaks.
But it was playing PC George Kiss on Hollyoaks from 2020 to 2021 that put him on the map. This role let him show off his skills at handling tough, twisty storylines. Once he felt ready for bigger challenges, he started working on international projects, like the Four Weddings and a Funeral series on Hulu and Flowers in the Attic: The Origin on Lifetime.
And he’s not just an actor, he’s also a musician!
Callum Kerr’s role in Virgin River as young Everett
In Season 6 of Virgin River, Kerr plays the young Everett, an important person in the story of Mel’s family. He’s a “singer-songwriter with a poet’s soul” living free and wild, and he’s got a thing with Sarah that makes their relationship a big part of the show’s past. Callum Kerr isn’t just an actor; he’s also a promising country singer. He spent a good chunk of time in Nashville, and after that, he came out with a song called “Tequila Therapy.”
