Our Little Secret follows Avery (played by Lindsay), who is spending her first Christmas with her boyfriend’s family. However, she arrives at his home to learn that her ex, Logan (Ian Harding), from 10 years earlier is dating her boyfriend’s sister and will also be celebrating with the family.
Before Logan can even greet Avery, she pretends to not know him. She gets him to agree to pretend that their relationship never happened because she wants to impress her boyfriend’s mother, who already doesn’t seem to like her. But can the two resentful exes hide their romantic history?

Netflix released the trailer for Our Little Secret on October 25, 2024. The video shows Avery and her boyfriend arriving at his family home, only to have his mother scoff at the screw-top wine Avery brought. “Here we go,” Avery says.
In another scene, Avery meets her boyfriend’s sister, who introduces Logan. A flashback scene shows Logan proposing to Avery, but she turns him down in front of everyone.
While talking privately in the bathroom, Avery begs Logan not to say anything about their relationship because she doesn’t want to give her boyfriend’s mom “ammunition.” Reluctantly, he agrees, calling her a “nightmare” on the way out of the room. This should be easy, right? Wrong.
