Venom 3 Conquers the Box Office: “Blockbuster” Title & Release Date Are Ready to Stir Up Screens!

Sony Pictures has finally revealed the title for Venom 3 while also announcing that Tom Hardy’s trilogy finale will now open a bit earlier this fall.

Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 receives its official Marvel movie title, and Sony Pictures also changes its release date once again. Following the poor box office and critical reception of Madame Web, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe still has two more films arriving this year. While Kraven the Hunter will be released in the summer, Hardy’s Venom 3 is heading for the fall and will become the first franchise in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe to complete a trilogy.

Deadline reports that Venom 3 has officially been titled Venom: The Last Dance by Sony Pictures and will now be released in theaters on October 25 instead of November 8. As of the time of this story’s publication, it is unknown when Sony Pictures is planning to release the first trailer, as the Venom: The Last Dance cast is still filming.

What Could The Venom: The Last Dance Title Mean?

With more than half a year away from the movie opening in theaters, the Venom: The Last Dance movie title could have multiple meanings in this context. Having something like “The Last Dance” adds an element of finality to it, suggesting that perhaps this is Hardy’s final movie as Eddie Brock/Venom. If they want to go out on a high note, Venom: The Last Dance could see Eddie and the Symbiote dealing with one last threat that, in the end, costs them their lives.

However, if a tragic hero’s death isn’t the path that they are going, Venom: The Last Dance could simply mean it is the final adventure for the duo before ultimately parting ways. It wouldn’t be shocking if the Venom Symbiote ended up going back to their home planet of Klyntar while leaving Eddie behind on Earth. This way, it allows the Venom trilogy to end on a decently happy note without either of them having to die.
