Taylor Swift might be making her MCU debut and Marvel fans are not happy at all.
The Marvel universe has a great many numbers of characters yet to have made their MCU debut. But with X-Men and other character rights finally returning to Marvel Studios, fans can expect to see some of them finally make their live-action appearances. With fan expectations on the rise, numerous rumors have been plaguing the fandom, with one or the other actor or character speculating to join the MCU.
The MCU is potentially gearing up to introduce several new characters
Among the many rumors floating around, Taylor Swift too has found her way back to MCU’s casting speculations. After an insider revealed she met Kevin Feige for a Marvel role, fans believe her casting is a recipe for disaster.
Taylor Swift Reportedly Met Kevin Feige for Potential MCU Role
Among the many actors and actresses rumored to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, pop star Taylor Swift too has found her way to become part of such rumors. Most of the time associated with the X-Men character Dazzler, the singer was even rumored to be appearing in Avengers: End Game since she had a song named End Game too.
These speculations and rumors have amplified in recent years after she was spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs vs New York Jets game with Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. Although all three recently chose not to respond to these rumors in an interview with Fandango, fans are really not convinced.
More recently, the trusted scooper and industry insider, Daniel Richtman revealed that the All Too Well hitmaker had a meeting with Marvel boss Kevin Feige to discuss her potential casting in an unrevealed role in the MCU. While this potential role may or may not be Dazzler, these rumors are in no way an official confirmation.
Fans React to Taylor Swift Potentially Joining the MCU
Alison Blaire aka Dazzler is Marvel’s most musical mutant ever. A literal pop star, she has the ability to convert sound into light, making her an interesting choice for Taylor Swift to portray. Yet such rumors and speculations have always been quenched by those associated with Marvel, and nothing fruitful has ever come about from them.
With Taylor Swift having already shown her acting chops in various projects and fitting the description of Dazzler perfectly, the pop star would be a great choice for the role. Yet, Marvel fans rather want a real actress to portray the role, instead of Swift.
As nothing has been confirmed, it would be worth waiting to see whether Taylor Swift has secured an MCU role or if this is all a farce.
