These are the Memphis artists vying for a Grammy, from GloRilla to Justin Timberlake

Several Memphis and Mid-South artists and producers will be among those vying for music’s biggest prize on Sunday during the 67th annual Grammy awards.

The ceremonies will take place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater and Crypto.com arena. Most of the Memphis-connected artists will see their fates decided during the daytime Grammy Premiere Ceremony, which begins at 2:30 p.m. CST and can be viewed at Grammy.com or on the Recording Academy’s official YouTube channel. The televised Grammy ceremonies will follow on CBS and Paramount+ at 7 p.m.

This year’s contingent of local and regional nominees includes fast-rising rap star GloRilla, pop phenom Justin Timberlake, Stax soul great Steve Cropper, Mississippi bluesman Cedric Burnside, and noted Memphis mastering engineer Brad Blackwood.

Here’s a look at the categories they’re in and the competition they’ll face in order to get Grammy gold.
