The Voice fans fume over ‘rigged’ finale as they share reason that ‘confirms’ it’s a fix after ‘wrong’ winner announced

Fans of The Voice tuned in last night to watch part two of the grand finale – but some were left unimpressed after spotting a sign showing the contest is “rigged”.

After a tense episode, Sofronio Vasquez was crowned as the season 26 winner.

The final five were: Jeremy Beloate, Danny Joseph, Sydney Sterlace, Shye, and of course, the new champion Sofronio Vasquez.

Despite the majority of fans being overjoyed with Sofronio’s win, some were left fuming after spotting a sign suggesting the show is a fix.

One person took to social media last night to share their “discovery” and in turn reveal how they knew “for sure” that the show is “rigged”.

“Now I know for sure the Voice is rigged,” they penned on X, formerly Twitter, “Jeremy just said the voice found him and reached out to him!!

“Ain’t you supposed to voluntarily/willingly decide yourself to go on the voice!?” they asked, concluding their message.

SOME VIEWERS NOT HAPPY WITH RESULT

Meanwhile, other viewers reacting to the results admitted they were “not a fan of the winner”.

“JEREMY IN FIFTH IS CRIMINAL. I’m livid. Tf is wrong with people?” asked one person.

“Shye is head and shoulders above them all,” said another.

A third fumed: “Should have been Danny!!”

“SORRY but, NBC PICKED Softonio & Bublé to Win because he’s a sore loser and that guy is a horrible singer,” slammed a fourth, adding: “Wouldn’t buy anything from him!

“Reba’s, Snoop, or Gwen’s singers were better. Bublé should just leave the show.

“I Don’t like him at ALL! He’s HORRIBLE! KEEP GWEN, REBA & SNOOP!”

And a fifth added: “Another pity winner, great singer, great story, not the best voice.”

Meanwhile, a sixth said: “Can we talk about how they lined up the contestants in the order they finished??” speculating that the vote was rigged.

‘DESERVING WINNER’

But some viewers were overjoyed with the results.

“The right person won. Great season,” said one person.

“I have followed your journey since the audition. I was hoping that you were going to win this competition, and indeed you did. Congratulations, Sofronio! You deserved it,” said another.

A third then said: “Deserving winner. Did not put a foot wrong in this competition. We are proud of you.”

While a fourth wrote: “I’ve been watching The Voice my entire life, and I am super happy and proud of the first Asian winner.

“Such an awesome performance from the blinds up to lives. Congrats #SofronioVasquez.”

And a fifth added: “This is making me emotional. Congrats to the Filipino Phenom, Sofronio Vasquez!”
