According to Marvel scoopers, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine may feature many cameos. They have speculated the appearance of multiple celebrities, from James Marsden’s Cyclops to Taylor Swift’s Dazzler. Fans refused to believe this news as Snipes and Reynolds couldn’t see eye to eye on the sets of Blade: Trinity, the third movie in the Blade franchise. It has been rumored for a long time that Marvel will bring back Snipes’ character to honor his contributions to keeping the company afloat.

Fans Still Don’t Believe Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds Will Collaborate For Deadpool 3

Wesley Snipes‘ third film in the Blade trilogy featured Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel and the film was infamously known for all the BTS drama surrounding it. According to Patton Oswalt, Snipes was very difficult to work with on the set of the movie (via AV Club). Oswalt also mentioned that Reynolds’ role was expanded in the movie to compensate for Snipes’ absence from the set.

Due to these issues on the Blade 3 set, fans were sure that Snipes and Reynolds would never work together. However, Marvel scooper @MyTimeToShineH shared that Snipes has agreed to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine. Fans refuse to believe this scoop, especially after Reynolds’ challenging time playing Hannibal King in the Blade film.

One fan on X mentioned that the Drop Zone actor was the last person that Reynolds wanted in his movie. Another mentioned that they heavily doubted the scoop. One fan wanted proof that Snipes even hinted that he would appear in the Green Lantern star’s film. One comment mentioned that this was not even remotely possible, while another mentioned that the two actors clearly didn’t want to be on a set together. Some fan reactions read:

Interestingly, Blade is already being rebooted by the MCU and Mahershala Ali is confirmed to play the lead role in the film. Ali is also expected to play the character in the Multiverse Saga finale movies. Besides Snipes, Famke Janssen, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Dafne Keen, Channing Tatum, and Blake Lively are also rumored to appear in the upcoming film.

While the Blade 3 drama indicated a clear rift between Wesley Snipes and the rest of the cast & crew including Ryan Reynolds, the Free Guy actor respected Snipes’ Method acting. In an interview with IGN, Reynolds revealed that he never met Snipes on the set of the movie. Instead, he revealed that he only met the character Blade. Reynolds shared with IGN:

“I only met Blade, and he is a method actor. Say what you want about that style of acting, I have the utmost respect for whatever it takes to get through this process.”

Reynolds’ upcoming third Deadpool film will also star Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, and Matthew Macfadyen. The film is helmed by Shawn Levy and written by Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Levy.
