Here is a list of the 10 worst television series of 2024! Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

We may be living in the golden age of television series, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few dumpster fires worthy of our wrath. Please read below FandomWire’s 10 worst television series of 2024! Just don’t complain later that we didn’t warn you! 10. Presumed Innocent (Apple TV+)

While every major media outlet will suck up to major Hollywood stars because they need access to interviews and video clips for search engine optimization, I cannot ignore how Jake Gyllenhaal is woefully miscast in the role of Rusty Sabich. It becomes increasingly evident as the series progresses. Presumed Innocent is one of the most overrated series of the 21st century.

9. Good Times (Netflix)

I was curious about why the Netflix animated remake of Good Times was such a commercial and critical flop until I watched it out of blind curiosity. The show offers blatant stereotypes that can be offensive and even degrading without providing nuance to the experience it is portraying.

8. Palm Royal (Apple TV+)

FandomWire film and television critic Alan French says the series Palm Royale “feels like an underachievement in the face of Apple TV+’s masterful historical dramas. It will make for light fun but beyond that.” I tend to agree, but I will be far less polite. This Kristen Wiig series is nothing but a beautiful-looking slog that offers no compelling reason to watch.

7. The Regime (Max)

The Regime is a perfect example of how elitists have hijacked the satirical genre, which was created for the common man and woman—not to make the uber-rich laugh. Horace must be rolling over in his grave over the Max satirical drama, which is vague, meaning it takes no risks and pulls its punches—a cardinal rule you do not break.

6. The Creep Tapes (Shudder)

If you think that Mark Duplass has found a fresh new angle in the “found footage” genre, you are sadly mistaken. Looking back, even The Blair Witch Project is an overrated flop that is more about a concept than execution. The same goes for The Creep Tapes, which is dull and wildly uneven.

5. Poppa’s House (CBS)

Poppa’s House is bad, mind-numbingly bad. There isn’t any way around it. Scenes play out as each joke has to be timed for the pressing of the laugh track. The dialogue is cringeworthy and serves no purpose to the story but to mercifully get us to each wonderful commercial break.

4. Before (Apple TV+)

Before takes all our goodwill from its core audience (or newcomers) by testing the audience’s patience with ten episodes when the story could have easily been wrapped up in 90 minutes, this hackneyed Apple TV+ thriller makes the fatal mistake of casting Billy Crystal in the lead role. The legendary comedian doesn’t possess the nuance or subtle emotional depth the role demands.

3. Agatha All Along (Disney+)

The world has a way of evening out things. Take this year: The Penguin debuts as one of the best comic book television adaptations of the century, while Agatha All Along is one of the worst. It’s a cringe-worthy, grating, even tedious, and monotonously boring spooky fantasy that has lazy writing and lacks scares, laughs, and any semblance of the joy that comes with shows like these. The first four episodes are a calculated misfire on almost every level.

2. Dream Productions (Disney+)

As I wrote earlier this year, Dream Productions is another Disney+ streaming cash grab that points back to that greedy little mouse focusing more on quantity in the streaming wars than quality. The fact is, this show is neither made for kids or adults. It’s a version of a movie or series designed for Hollywood to pat itself on the back

1. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (Netflix)

Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story is a series that blatantly wears its bias on its sleeves and a profoundly misguided attempt at social justice television. Ryan Murphy, apparently, will do anything to make a buck and should be ashamed of himself.
