“Superman is enough to end that fraud”: Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot’s Trinity Would Have Finished Avengers: Endgame in Minutes, At Least That’s What DC Fans Think

While The Avengers had a one in a fourteen million chance to defeat Thanos, fans are convinced that The Trinity would have gotten the job done in no time.

Avengers: Endgame will forever remain one of the most iconic and unforgettable superhero films to have ever graced this planet for a number of reasons. Whether it was the adrenaline-pumping action sequences, the excitement during the return of the superheroes, or the tears that rolled down our faces when Iron Man died, Avengers: Endgame is an emotion on its own.

Avengers: Endgame

Thanos sure gave the Avengers and the honorary Avengers a run for their money during the final battle. And right up until the final moment, it seemed that a supervillain was finally able to get the upper hand. However, fans of DC are convinced that the fight would have ended in a matter of minutes if Thanos was up against Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot’s superheroes.

The Trinity vs. The Mad Titan in ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Endgame battle Thanos

Fighting Thanos took a toll on MCU’s superheroes and ended with sine of our favorite Avengers biting the dust. However, fans are convinced that if it was The Trinity – Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman – in place of the Avengers, the fight would have been over by dinner time.dvertisement

In this “alternate” Endgame, the three superheroes would have united their unique strengths to give Thanos the defeat of a lifetime. Batman’s tactical genius and insanely advanced technology, Wonder Woman’s unparalleled combat skills and divine abilities, as well as Superman’s inhumane strength, speed, and durability, would have had Thanos sweating the moment the battle began.

With Batman’s intelligence and strategic thinking, The Trinity would have a plan that is the definition of perfection with no room for error. This plan would be executed brilliantly by Superman’s overwhelming power and Wonder Woman’s combat prowess. With Batman’s tech, there would be room for critical strikes, as Wonder Woman would keep him distracted by taking him on for a 1v1. Using this to his benefit, Superman would then sweep in with his super speed and take off the Gauntlet from Thanos’ hand.

Now that Thanos is Gauntlet-less, he no longer possesses the strength he had mere seconds ago. Taking this opportunity, Superman makes the blow and Thanos is defeated. In the end, the three make sure to safeguard the Infinity Stones, and the world is saved!

What Fans Had to Say about The Trinity vs. Thanos

Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot in Justice League

We loved everything about the Avengers vs. Thanos (yes, even Iron Man’s heroic end) and we wouldn’t change a thing about it. On the other hand, it is pretty fun to imagine other superheroes in place of MCU’s saviors, and who better than DC’s golden trio?

After the Thanos vs. The Trinity question was raised on social media, the latter was unanimously declared the winner by fans. Everyone seemed super confident in the superheroes and one even stated that Batfleck with prep time alone could have ended Thanos for good.

Take a look at what fans had to say about it on X:

With everything that we have seen so far, we have no doubt that Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman would be Thanos’ biggest nightmare. Do you think Thanos stands a chance against the three?
