Marvel actress Sophia Di Martino reveals where she would want to see Sylvie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe next after Loki season 2.

Sophia Di Martino opens up about what she hopes to see for Sylvie after the events of Loki season 2 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the biggest chapters of Phase 5 came in the form of the Loki season 2 ending, as Tom Hiddleston’s titular character made a massive sacrifice. In order to protect the Sacred Timeline, the God of Mischief had to take on a new role in the MCU, serving as the God of Time.

In an interview with S.R, Di Martino chatted in depth about Loki season 2, and what lies ahead for Sylvie after the season finale. When asked where she wants to see Sylvie’s story go next, Di Martino shared the following:

I think, at this point, if anything comes back to threaten free will in general, I feel like Sylvie will be there to fight the good fight. It kind of depends where the story goes, where the bigger picture goes. No one knows, but Kevin Feige!

As the Multiverse Saga timeline is still ongoing, Screen Rant also asked Di Martino how she would want to see Sylvie factored into the larger storyline, as she said:

Yeah, I mean, she could go anywhere. Again, the possibilities are limitless. That’s what’s so exciting about it. You just never know,

With Loki now operating as the God of Time, Di Martino also reflected upon whether she thinks he and Sylvie will ever be reunited, adding the following:

I feel like the two are definitely connected, so that’s always going to be the case. I mean, it would be weird if they never saw each other again, right?

How Sylvie Could Return In Loki Season 3 Or Elsewhere In The MCU

Sophia Di Martino Could Even Play Other Loki Variants

While Loki season 3 may not be confirmed, Screen Rant proposed an idea to Di Martino about her continuous presence in the MCU. When asked if she is hoping to take on more variants for herself, similar to Hiddleston’s run in the franchise, she said “That will be really fun, yeah, I’d love that.” If Loki season 3 were to be announced, shifting the focus over to Sylvie would be a natural story progression.

Even if Hiddleston were not to be the lead anymore in a hypothetical Loki season 3, the show would still be focusing on a Loki, only it would be Di Martino’s version. Loki season 3 could focus on Sylvie not only trying to find her place in the world, but encountering other variants of herself in the larger multiverse. From an acting standpoint, that would also allow Di Martino to get new and refreshing roles to play within the MCU.

It would be quite shocking if Marvel Studios never brought Loki and Sylvie back together in any capacity, especially towards the end of the Multiverse Saga. Given their compelling dynamic throughout the Loki TV show, it would be intriguing to see if Sylvie could ever get to him and witness what it is like to be the God of Time. But for now, time will tell what will happen with the characters from Loki as the Multiverse Saga continues on.
