“Sony is really about to f**k this series up”: Venom: The Last Dance’s Rumored Peter Parker Plans Could Totally Ruin One Scene That Connected the Franchise to the MCU

Venom: The Last Dance to feature a 10-year-old Peter Parker and fans are not happy at all.

Venom The Last Dance

It was recently confirmed that Sony is developing its last Venom movie ever, Venom: The Last Dance. Although no further details regarding the movie have been revealed, whether this will be Tom Hardy’s last dance too or not, there have been some pretty interesting rumors about the upcoming movie.

Reed Richards helped Peter Parker get rid of Venom

According to one leaked plot for the movie, Sony is reportedly planning to introduce a 10-year-old Peter Parker in the film. And if this rumored leak holds any traction, the film will well ruin the one scene that ties Hardy’s Venom movies with Tom Holland’s MCU movies.

Tom Hardy’s Venom: The Last Dance Might Ruin its MCU Connection

Both Tom Hardy and Tom Holland‘s respective Marvel entries have been some of the best Marvel movies of all time. While Holland stars as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, Hardy is Spider-Man’s iconic adversary, Venom. Both actors have done an impeccable job portraying their respective characters, making fans demand the characters to go head-to-head as per their comic book counterparts.

However, that might not be possible anymore seeing how Venom: The Last Dance is rumored to ruin its only connection with Holland’s MCU movies. As per the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the multiversal epic, Venom and Eddie Brock are transported to the MCU. During their time in the MCU, as per the end credit scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, they come across a Daily Bugle report about Spider-Man, who is being painted as a fugitive.

While Venom and Eddie Brock are transported back, a tiny fraction of symbiote goo is left behind, making it seem that Holland’s Spider-Man would finally be having a go with his comic book foe, Venom. However, this small connection with the MCU might ruined according to an alleged leak plot line of Venom: The Last Dance.

As per the leak, given the events of the end credit scene of Venom 2, Venom will set out to kill Peter Parker in his own universe. Only… his universe’s Peter is a 10-year-old kid who has no connection to spiders, yet. Although this is only a rumor and possibly inaccurate, such an event not only seems insane but also destroys the chances of Venom fighting Spider-Man.

Fans React to The Leaked Plot Details of Venom: The Last Dance

If Sony is to go according to the events of Venom 2 and No Way Home, there is a possibility of an epic fight taking place. Since all symbiotes share a hive knowledge, the piece of symbiote goo left by Venom in the MCU universe could eventually lead to a confrontation between Spider-Man and Venom.

However, if the leaked plot is to be trusted, Sony might well be on its way to creating an epic disaster according to fans. Not only will the series be ruining its MCU connection, but it will further mess up the coherent timeline that has been continuing till now. Whether it will be set in the past, future or lead to some other universe, nothing remains known.

The confusion is further magnified by other rumors pointing out that Sony wants Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back into the Spider-verse (via X) and Madame Web apparently introducing an infant Peter Parker. As the details of the alleged leaked plot went viral, this is how fans reacted:

As discussions, speculations, and rumors continue to circulate, Sony is yet to reveal what its plans for Tom Hardy’s Venom: The Last Dance are. Whatever, they might be, the plans will certainly have a huge impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe given its previous connection with the Venom movies.

As anticipation mounts, Venom: The Last Dance will be released on October 25, 2024.
