Royal Chaos: Why Harry & Meghan Are Desperate to Escape the U.S. Now!

The couple, who married in 2018, have remained a united front.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning a holiday to the Bahamas, inside sources have claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aged 40 and 43, faced a slightly challenging start to 2025, including the postponement of Meghan’s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” until March due to LA wildfires.

An insider claimed to Heat Magazine: “Meghan and Harry have been under intense pressure.”

According to the outlet, filmmaker Tyler Perry, 55, has offered the couple his private residence in the Bahamas as a retreat.

Perry owns a private island in the Bahamas called White Bay Cay, which he bought in 2009 to celebrate his 40th birthday.

“Tyler has offered up his Bahamas home to the couple,” the source claimed.

“He told Meghan to take the time to reconnect and repair – insisting that she and Harry needed time away from everyone, even the kids.”

The couple are understood to plan to travel next month, with arrangements made for their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, to stay with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

The couple’s decision comes after facing criticism for their recent visit to a wildfire evacuation centre.

This backlash from Harry and Meghan’s evacuation centre appearance reportedly left the Sussexes “devastated”.

However, many people in LA, such as the teenage charity founder of Altadena Girls, Avery Colvert, have praised Meghan’s hands-on involvement.

Colvert told Marie Claire that the Duchess went “above and beyond” in her support.

A source continued to tell Heat Magazine: “While they weren’t directly affected by the fires, they were close to an evacuation order at one point and have since opened their home to friends who’ve lost their houses, which has also been hard.”

Those close to the couple are hopeful the Bahamas getaway will provide the reset they need.

“Many of Meghan’s pals feel this trip will be all about healing and reconnection,” the source added.

The private retreat comes at a crucial time for the couple, who have maintained their united front despite the recent string of challenges.
