Prince William is ‘rubbing salt in the wound’ during feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince William is rubbing salt in the wound as his feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continues, a source has claimed.

The Prince of Wales met with Taylor Swift last month and was snapped alongside the popstar with his two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Meghan Markle had previously tried to secure Swift as a guest on her Archetypes podcast but an appearance did not materialise.

An insider has now claimed that Meghan and Harry are finding it hard to see the musician building a friendship with the Prince of Wales.

The source told Closer: “Taylor is very much on the royals’ radar right now, it is not just Princess Charlotte and Prince George that love her, everyone’s raving about her and how talented and charming she is.

“The word is she is going to be top of their list for any upcoming galas or events that involve celebrities.

“It is no secret Meghan went out of her way to try and build a relationship with Taylor and got nowhere, so it’s hard for her and Harry not to see this as being a calculated way for William and the royals to undermine them further, it’s certainly rubbing salt in the wound.”

Despite their ongoing feud with William, the Sussexes are said to eyeing a bid to work with other members of the Royal Family.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of Meghan Markle’s list of targets to recruit for promotions, a source has claimed.

The Princesses of York are thought to be the closest members of the Royal Family to the Sussexes.

Princess Eugenie was the first royal who Prince Harry introduced Meghan to after the couple started dating.

The Duchess of Sussex is now eyeing Eugenie and her elder sister Beatrice as targets on a wishlist of influential people to promote her lifestyle products.

Meghan founded the lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard earlier this year and is preparing to launch a range of products for sale before the end of 2024.

The insider added that the Duchess of Sussex would like for King Charles to back her brand.

The source said: “Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list, but she is shooting even higher and would love to get King Charles to give his stamp of approval.

“Despite all the drama, Meghan does not see why they should not be able to drum up some support and backing.”
