Prince Harry’s UK return remains uncertain as Meghan Markle reportedly has no desire to ever step foot in England again, feeling she never belonged. While Harry has visited since their 2020 royal exit, including a recent trip after King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, Meghan hasn’t accompanied him.
Prince Harry’s potential return to the United Kingdom remains uncertain as royal author Omid Scobie suggests Meghan Markle has no intention of returning.
According to Scobie’s book Endgame, the Duchess of Sussex “never wants to step foot in England again,” as she “never really felt at home” during her time in the country.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties in 2020, relocating to Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. While Harry has made several trips back to the UK, including one earlier this year to visit King Charles following his cancer diagnosis, Meghan has reportedly stayed away.
As per The Mirror, the last joint visit by the couple was in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. Speculation about potential peace talks with the royal family persists, but Scobie asserts that Meghan “never wants to be involved in the British monarchy again.”
