Prince Andrew Is Reportedly Facing Eviction By King Charles At Prince William’s Urging: He ‘Held A Grudge’ For Years

Although several royal insiders have hinted that King Charles will “never turn his back” on Prince Andrew, he could reportedly evict his disgraced younger brother from his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor for a number of different reasons.

Prince Andrew could reportedly face eviction from Royal Lodge as he doesn’t have the funds to maintain the $37M property. And another reason is reportedly because Prince William wants him gone, as he has held a grudge against his uncle for a very long time!

According to insiders, Prince William has held a grudge against his uncle for years, with his behavior towards Kate Middleton when she was first introduced to the royal family all those years ago being one of the main reasons.

“Differences between monarch and heir do remain, especially when it comes to the Prince Andrew scandal,” Richard Kay told the Daily Mail. “William has long held a grudge against Andrew for being unwelcoming when he first introduced the then Kate Middleton to the royal family and feels that his father has been too soft on him.”

King Charles Still Wants Prince Andrew To Move Into Frogmore Cottage

Prince Andrew wouldn’t be left without a home though, as King Charles has still maintained that he should move into Frogmore Cottage – i.e., the residence which once belonged to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, before they were evicted last year.

As for who will take up residence in Royal Lodge if Prince Andrew does indeed get evicted, insiders believe that the true residents should be Prince William and his family! Richard Kay told the Daily Mail that there is “speculation” that Prince William is “pushing his father to evict the Duke of York from Royal Lodge so the Waleses could move in.”

This has also been echoed by another royal author, who claims that King Charles believes the Royal Lodge is the perfect residence for the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children.

“For King Charles, forcing Andrew to move to Frogmore solves several problems at once. It sends a message to Harry that, as a private citizen and no longer a working royal, he will never be allowed back to Frogmore,” Tom Quinn told The Mirror, adding: “It sends [a] message to Andrew that having disgraced himself, he can no longer expect to live in the grand style.”

“And, finally,” Quinn added, “it means that a suitably grand residence can be made ready for the royals who really matter William and Kate.” According to Quinn: “Charles is determined that Royal Lodge is the only residence on the royal estate at Windsor that is big enough and regal enough for his heir.”
