Megan Fox is under the erroneous impression that superhero actors aren’t liked by critics
Megan Fox is one of the many actresses who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. With the widening range of movies and shows the actress has worked on, the showcase of talent is satisfactory and breathtaking. Out of all the roles she has played, there are still those she wishes to get. With the various franchises available to explore, there are particular ones she set her eyes on.

The more she grows in the industry, the bigger her goals also become. As such, breaking stereotypes, typecast, and whatnot. As per her own beliefs, there are certain movies and actors who don’t get targeted for big awards. It is not something that bothers her. In fact, that is the exact category she wanted to be in.
Megan Fox Wanted a Superhero Role
Megan Fox, during an interview with Instyle, got candid about where she sees herself in the future. As such, the question also sprouted about the one role she would want to do sometime, or perhaps a movie she wants to be a part of. Her reply to the same was directly related to her wanting to manifest the same.

“I should probably start manifesting. I won’t lie, I do want to find a Marvel or a DC character that I’ve always wanted to play, and do one of those.”
Fox replied that the one genre she finds herself interested in is that of superheroes. The actress claimed that a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC Universe would be perhaps the best opportunity she could come across.
She added that it was something she had always wanted to do. However, what came after may seem a bit controversial.
Megan Fox Disregarded Superhero Actors’ Success
While stating her wish to play a Marvel or DC superhero, the actress added another comment that was perhaps heavily inaccurate. She claimed that the actors who engage in such movies do not get as much recognition for the same.

“People hate on you as an actor for that because it doesn’t get you the big awards. I don’t give a f-ck. Give me an MTV award. I don’t need a fucking BAFTA.”
According to her, fans and critics overlook superhero actors and they thus do not qualify for the big awards. However, she added the fact that Fox did not care for it and wanted to do them regardless.
Heath Ledger won an Oscar for his performance as Joker in The Dark Knight trilogy. Alongside him, actors such as Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr., and Cate Blanchett all hold big time awards. Their talent is heavily appreciated and they are actors who are extremely adored by audiences and critics alike.
