The Cobra Kai alum might be making his debut in the MCU as a Galactus hunter.
Marvel’s Fantastic Four is being hotly anticipated for 2025, as Marvel’s first family gears up for its homecoming under the banner of Marvel Studios. With the main characters of the film cast, information about additional casting has been trickling down through leaks and official sources.
Paul Walter Hauser in Cobra Kai
Paul Water Hauser, of Cobra Kai fame, has been cast in the film. Speculation has been running wild as to who the actor would play, with more than a few fans placing their bets on Mole Man. While a great choice for the actor, a few other theories are floating around with regard to who the actor is going to play in the MCU, and this character has already been confirmed to be a part of the film.

A slew of fan theories are pointing towards H.E.R.B.I.E. as the character that Hauser is going to essay. The robot has some important significance of its own, given that it was made in collaboration with Xandarian scientists, which could finally herald the coming of Galactus in the MCU. H.E.R.B.I.E. was created with the sole directive of helping the Fantastic Four search for Galactus, which might be indicative of who the main antagonist of the film might be.
Paul Walter Hauser as Mole Man would be an inspiring casting choice
Fantastic Four villain Mole Man
While H.E.R.B.I.E. might be a great character for Paul Walter Hauser to play, the idea that the artist would play the rotund Fantastic Four villain could be great to watch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Mole Man featuring in the Fantastic Four film might make the film a little too crowded, as the character might not get enough screen time between the four leads and the main antagonist of the film.
However, Mole Man was also the first foe that the Fantastic Four ever faced, which would make him the perfect antagonist to introduce the super team. Of course, the character could always appear in the introductory scenes of the film, as a gag villain that the Fantastic Four prove themselves against before a bigger threat like Galactus shows itself.
The Fantastic Four will be heading towards a theatrical release in July of 2025, clashing with Superman, which is set to launch James Gunn‘s new DCU. Given how fundamental both these properties are to their respective franchises, it might just resurrect one of cinema’s most nail-biting rivalries, the kind that fans expected from the DCEU and the MCU as they took off.
