Adding to that, the team being created in a purely positive light by Pascal’s Reed Richards, as The Fantastic Four theory suggests, would make the Council of Reeds the perfect solution to what is expected to be the main threat of Avengers 5. The movie, which is reportedly no longer called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, was at one point going to feature the Council of Kangs.

Similar to the Council of Reeds, the team centers around Kang the Conqueror variants and was introduced in the mid-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Avengers 5 having the Council of Reeds join the fight against the Council of Kangs would be perfect for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, as a group of variants of Mr. Fantastic would bring the necessary intelligence and multiverse knowledge to take down the Kangs.
