Netflix's most-watched Christmas comedy Our Little Secret is loved by viewers, but not by film critics

From November 27, the romantic Christmas comedy Our Little Secret starring Lindsay Lohan and Ian Harding is on Netflix.

The film was directed by Stephen Herek, who is known for the comedy “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”, while the screenplay was written by Hailey DeDominicis.

The film has only been on Netflix for two days and has already become the most watched. The plot follows ex-couple Avery, played by Lindsay Lohan, and Logan, played by Ian Harding. Through a twist of circumstances, they are forced to spend Christmas together after discovering that their current partners Cameron and Cassie are brother and sister.

The film stars Kristin Chenoweth, Jake Brennan, Dan Bucatinsky, Tim Meadows, Judy Reyes, Ash Santos, Henry Czerny, Bobbie Eakes, Chris Parnell and Brian Unger.

According to the current ratings of the viewers, the film is entertaining for most, while the script and acting did not earn much. Audiences rated the film on Rotten Tomatoes at 76 percent and critics at 47 percent.

Some viewers commented that the plot of the film is quite original and that the film has a touch of humor throughout the story, while the ending brought interesting twists. However, the film did not leave a good impression on some viewers and they did not like the way Lindsay Lohan acted.
