Thomas Jr. and Meghan reportedly haven’t been on speaking terms for over a decade. The family feud between the two has recently been re-ignited as Meghan’s brother repeatedly hits her with insults online.

Meanwhile, Samantha launched a libel suit against her sister for an interview Meghan conducted in 2021 with Oprah Winfrey.

Still, the case was dismissed by a Tampa, Florida judge as Samantha “failed” to identify any statements that supported her claim.

As per reports, Meghan has always had a challenging relationship with her dad, who has not been shy about criticizing her during television interviews.

During a September 2023 interview with Good Morning Britain, Thomas Markle notes that his son (Thomas Jr.) was upset with Meghan. He goes on to say that she’s treated him (Thomas Sr.) terribly, and has not reached out since his strokes or heart attacks.

He adds that he’s heartbroken and upset himself. He states that it is a “cruel thing” to deny the right of a grandparent to see their grandchild.

Thomas Markle Sr. is referring to the fact that he doesn’t have a relationship with Meghan and Harry’s two children, Archie (aged 4) and Lilibet (aged 2). Thomas Sr. goes on to say that in California, he could sue the couple but he doesn’t want to do that.

He adds he’s done nothing wrong and there’s nothing that points him to being a “bad guy”. He states that he’s a loving father, and Meghan knows that. Thomas says that there’s no excuse for him to be treated this way.
