Megaverse talent agency WME have reportedly advised the couple that they should embark on more solo engagements, leading to a professional split between the pair.
Meghan Markle has been encouraged to “embrace” her independence following her recent professional separation from Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has been attending events solo after advice from her talent agency WME suggested more individual engagements, according to The Mail.
Grazia reports that their advisors have urged them to “embrace their independence” and pursue separate professional paths. This follows Harry’s departure from their Montecito home for a series of solo engagements last month after his 40th birthday.
The Duke was away for weeks, making successful solo appearances in New York City, the UK and Africa. Meanwhile, Meghan remained at home with their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

She attended a hospital gala red carpet event alone and participated in an event by Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, aimed at helping young girls navigate social media safely.
At both these events, Meghan was all smiles as she posed for photos and mingled with other attendees. However, despite reportedly being advised to embrace her independence, the duchess appears to be struggling with her new professional life.
A source close to the Sussexes told GB News: “They haven’t done themselves any favors by doing so many separate events but this is what they have decided to do as it works best for them at the moment as a couple and they both feel they can shine at events that are close to their hearts.”
“But it does upset her [Meghan Markle] that, while Harry was getting praised for all of his appearances, she is getting criticized for what she says, what she wears etc and it brings back hurtful memories of when she was a Royal.”
The couple have not been seen in public together since attending a birthday party the night before Prince Harry’s own milestone celebration.
