Meghan Markle takes first step towards reconciliation with Kate Middleton: Life’s too short

Meghan Markle's Response to Being Compared to Kate Middleton Goes Viral - Newsweek

The relationship between Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, has been tense for years.

Their strained connection intensified after several revelations made by the Sussexes in their Netflix docuseries, and further amplified by Prince Harry‘s memoir Spare.

Speculations have risen that Meghan is planning to share her side of the story through her own memoir.

A major point of contention between the two reportedly occurred four days before Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry. It’s said that a disagreement regarding bridesmaid dresses led to Princess Kate making Meghan cry.

However, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan revealed that it was actually the other way around, Kate had made her cry.

Harry’s memoir Spare further detailed the incident, where he found Meghan in tears after an argument with Kate over Princess Charlotte‘s bridesmaid dress.

According to the book, Kate expressed concerns about the dress and suggested that all the bridesmaid outfits needed to be completely redone.
