The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly been left “humiliated” by a supposed snub from Kardashian mom-ager Kris Jenner, as the couple try to build an empire in the USA.

Meghan Markle has apparently suffered yet another “pretty big blow” in Hollywood as the Duchess of Sussex tries to rebuild her career amid royal drama.

One source claimed that Meghan and Prince Harry have been “rejected” by industry fat cat Kris Jenner, not long after polls showed the popularity of the royal pair slumping.

The source claimed to Closer UK: “Kris has a lot on her plate, but ultimately people can’t help but wonder if she’s dropped them because she’s seen the disastrous opinion polls on the Sussexes.”

Allegedly, since this snub by Kris Jenner, Meghan has been left “humiliated”, as she initially had her reservations about working with the Kardashians on prospective projects.

Meghan allegedly reached out to the Kardashians

Meghan and Harry have spent 2024 trying to build up their brand with a series of new projects including a cooking show, the Parents Network, and the launch of their lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

“No doubt they [Harry and Meghan] felt they were lowering their standards a little by associating with the Kardashians, so to end up being rejected by them is a pretty big blow.

“Meghan had eventually come around to the idea and was excited to be working with Kardashians…so it’s beyond humiliating for her to be tossed aside,” the source claimed.

However, another source has come to the defense of Meghan over the upcoming launch of the American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand. They dismissed claims that the former actress was struggling to find a CEO, claiming that these rumors are “untrue”.

Apparently, the brand “will reflect everything that she loves — family, cooking, entertaining and home décor” and that Meghan was “excited about her latest, personal venture”.

The drama for the pair has not stopped with the Kardashian-Jenner empire. Harry has seemingly been trying to work out ways to make his shock return to the UK.

Some sources have claimed that Harry has reached out to friends in the UK to discuss how he can make a return to Britain and base himself in the UK.

A source told the Mail: “He is clearly reaching out thinking, ‘I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working’. In short, he is rethinking the way he operates.”

Drama continues to surround the royals

Whilst Harry may be keen on a return to his home country, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has warned that there could be one major obstacle in his way.

Writing in the Express, Mr Fitzwilliams suggested: “The main problem with any comeback, if it hypothetically could be arranged, is obviously Meghan. Her home is in California.

“She is detested in Britain where she currently has a negative rating of 37 percent according to a YouGov poll in August. She seeks prestige and global reach and is absolutely ruthless about getting it.”
