Meghan Markle has opened up on a “beautiful” relationship she has in her life that not everyone knows about.

Meghan Markle has recently opened up on a “beautiful relationship” she has in her life, although it appears Prince Harry is not the person she is talking about.

The duchess, 43, opened up about the important friendship she shares with British designer Clare Waight Keller, who was recently named Uniqlo’s creative director, and who designed Meghan’s 2018 wedding dress.

In a statement to the New York Times, the Duchess of Sussex said she’s a fan of the Japanese casual wear brand and owns several items from their collection.

Meghan’s friend, who will now help create the Uniqlo’s men’s and women’s core collections starting Autumn/Winter 2024, was also praised by Prince Harry’s wife for her designs.

Meghan, 43, said: “Her pieces for the brand have movement and modern grace.”

Meghan and Clare first met in early 2018 before the duchess’ wedding to Harry.

Meghan Markle was then the one chosen to present Clare with the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the 2018 British Fashion Awards, where she spoke about the designer’s “values” and talent.

When speaking about Meghan in response, Clare said: “This woman is so amazing. I got to know Meghan on such a personal level.

“To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life… I can’t thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment.”

The designer is believed to be part of Meghan’s inner circle of friends, which includes Oprah Winfrey and Kelly McKee Zajfen.

The duchess also shares a close bond with Tyler Perry, the godfather of her and Prince Harry’s three-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
