The couple have taken a step to seemingly end their feud.
It looks as though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken step towards mending their relationship with King Charles.
According to a royal commentator, the Sussexes have set out to focus on more “positive things” moving forward. The fact they haven’t said anything controversial about the royal family in 2024 is viewed as a positive for Charles, who has been battling cancer for much of the year.
“He’s [Harry] the one who needs to pull himself together and extend the olive branch because he is the one making it difficult between them,” Hugo Vickers told The Sun.
“The most successful members of the royal family are the ones who support the King in what he’s doing, and they don’t compete with him.”
Hugo noted how recent public appearances for Harry and Meghan saw the couple avoid talking about the royals.
“They’ve realised that it wasn’t getting anywhere because it was causing so much trouble,” he said.
Will Harry mend fences in 2025?
According to The Daily Beast, Prince Harry is looking to make a “fresh start” with his family, especially his brother, Prince William.
However, that approach has been thrown into doubt given Harry remains unapologetic for his past allegations, insisting that every claim he made in his memoir, “Spare,” and in interviews and documentaries is the truth.
“Harry is said to have dropped his own demands for an apology from the royals for the poor and discriminatory way he alleges his wife was treated by the royals when they lived in the U.K. as working royals,” a source told The Daily Beast.
“The Daily Beast has been told he would like to make a fresh start with his family, including his brother.”
