Paris Fashion Week is finally here and all the stars are pulling out their best looks. Of course, our queen Megan Thee Stallion is only setting the bar higher with the most incredible ensembles—but who knew she could make weird nails look this good? At the Gaurav Gupta show, she debuted a backwards manicure that perfectly matched her silver look. We’re not exactly running to the nail salon to get our own set, but we can’t help but be intrigued by how effortlessly she pulls them off.
Megan Thee Stallion is thee fashion girl, so we’re not surprised she’s slaying every single one of her Paris Fashion Week outfits. And after her gorgeous orange look at Giambattista Valli, we’ve been impaitently waiting for her next appearance. Thankfully just today she stunned with yet another top-notch look. This time, Megan came through wearing head to toe Gaurav Gupta, which included the coolest chain headpiece and matching dress. As much as we love this look, we couldn’t help but be drawn to her insanely trippy manicure.

Avant garde nails have been having a huge moment recently, and Megan Thee Stallion is seriously proving how chic they can be. Today, she sported oddly satisfying backwards silver cat eye nails, and we couldn’t be more obsessed. Not only does this set harp on some of the trends we already love (they’re cat eye, metallic, and stiletto), it’s also a super fresh twist on nail trends in general. Not everyone can pull off backwards nails, but Megan is doing it with ease. Ever since we took note of her colorful nails last year, our eyes have been peeled for all of her nail moments. And after this look, we don’t see how she could possibly outdo herself. (But I’m sure she’ll find a way.)
2025 nail trends have been all over the place. From simple French manicures to super maximalist charms and details, nothing is off the table. And while Megan’s backwards nails are certainly out there, we’d be lying if we said they’re the craziest nails we’ve ever seen. Instagram nail techs have been going crazy with some of the weirdest sets ever—we’re talking extra long acrylic toenails and even nails that are meant to look moldy and dirty. No one knows for sure what strange trends will be popping up next, but at least our girl Megan Thee Stallion will always have a fresh set for us to obsess over.
