Fans insulted the MCU and accused Marvel Studios of hiding their content behind a money wall!
So… the new Apple Vision Pro. Pretty cool right? Well, it’s about to be even more cooler. With the MCU colliding its multiverse with the realms of Apple, a new project titled What If…? – An Immersive Story will be released soon.
As people would have guessed it, the project will be an Apple Vision Pro experience where fans may get to relive What If…?, but in virtual reality. The project also implies that fans have a say in the future of the story and overall, some people are excited about the project. Some, not most, and there’s a $3500 reason for that.

There Is A $3500 Condition For MCU’s What If…? Experience!
Yes, you heard it right. The upcoming MCU project What If…? – An Immersive Story is all the grandeur and futuristic stuff that people would have imagined in the 1980s. Reliving the stories as if they’re happening right in front of you, What If…? is certainly going to be a blast.
However, there is one very expensive catch that is causing a lot of trouble for fans. The upcoming project will be an exclusive. Not a PlayStation or Xbox exclusive but an exclusive for the Apple Vision Pro. Director and producer Dave Bushore revealed in an interview with The Walt Disney Company about the project and what fans can expect from it.
“As a kid, my favorite stories were about worlds beyond my own, advanced technologies, and heroes traveling across space and time. What If…? – An Immersive Story is the next evolution in how we tell our stories, where fans across generations can experience them and live out the adventure alongside their favorite heroes,”
He further continued, “This experience kicks the door open to the Marvel Universe, and it’s a glimpse of what I’ve been waiting for my whole life.”
As wholesome as these statements sound, people are not impressed with one particular condition of the upcoming interactive story. The $3500 price tag that comes with the Apple Vision Pro might have something to do with it.
The $3500 Price Tag Is A Problem For People
Upon hearing this wonderful news, people took to X (formerly Twitter) to talk about What If…? – An Immersive Experience. With calls of firing Marvel President Kevin Feige (for reasons unknown) to dissing Marvel’s recent releases, fans were not at all happy with the announcement. More than the project, fans talked about Apple Vision Pro and trolled the virtual reality headset for being pricey.
With several users claiming that Marvel Studios are now gatekeeping their content behind a wall of money, it seems that the Studios might lose the support of the fans if it decides to go too far. On the other hand, for the people who do want to live the experience of What If…? Apple Vision Pro is available in your nearest Apple store in the U.S.
