The TV star, who plays Jack Sheridan in Virgin River, might be well known for his acting skills but he has also had a lesser-known stint in the music industry. Fans were shocked when they discovered that Martin featured in the music video for Britney Spears’ 2004 hit, Toxic.

This revelation has stirred excitement among Virgin River viewers, particularly after snippets of the music video resurfaced on the internet. In the clip, Martin is seen wearing a sleek suit and being dramatically flung onto a bed by Britney.

The scene quickly gained iconic status among Britney’s fanbase. Reflecting on his cameo in the music video, Martin shared, “It was my dirty little secret. It was a weird day – I think it was on a Saturday or Sunday.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he added, “I got a call a few days before like ‘Hey, can you do this thing on the weekend?’ I’d just done this action movie called Torque for Warner Bros and the director did all of Britney’s music videos.”

Martin continued, “No one actually mentioned that I’d have to make out with Britney. The thing that struck me the most about meeting her was how down-to-earth she was. She was the sweetest and most genuine girl.”

Martin’s cameo in Britney’s video was shared on TikTok. The person who shared it wrote, “He was in Britney Spears’ Toxic video too so there’s that,” adding, “I am LOOOSING my mind.”
