Lindsay Lohan’s New Rom-Com Is Here: Meet the Cast of Our Little Secret – You Won’t Believe Who’s In It!

The movie features new faces, veteran comedians, and one of Lohan’s “Mean Girls” costars.

The holidays are for spending time with loved ones… not people you used to love.

Netflix’s snappy new rom-com Our Little Secret (directed by Stephen Herek, who helmed Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) sees bitter exes Avery (Lindsay Lohan) and Logan (Ian Harding) forced to spend Christmas together after discovering their new partners, Cam (Jon Rudnitsky) and Cassie (Katie Baker), are siblings.

Undoubtedly, this creates some friction between the brood — most notably for matriarch Erica (Kristin Chenoweth). A battle of wills soon ensues, but will the exes find they’re meant for each other after all?

As Lohan headlines her third Netflix rom-com, here’s everything to know about the cast of Our Little Secret.

Lindsay Lohan (Avery)

Lindsay Lohan began her career as a child actor in The Parent Trap (1998) before starring in teen hits like Freaky Friday (2003), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), and Mean Girls (2004). She then moved on to more adult roles in A Prairie Home Companion (2006), I Know Who Killed Me (2007), and The Canyons (2013). Her career took a temporary detour due to legal issues and time spent in rehab.

After relocating to Dubai, Lohan returned to screens with the Netflix rom-coms Falling for Christmas (2022) and Irish Wish (2024). She’ll soon reprise her role as Anna Coleman opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in Freakier Friday, due out next year.

Though Lohan has performed in her share of comedies, she found it hard to adjust to some of the bits in Our Little Secret. “I think the biggest difference with Avery is that, in this, I did have to do some comedic scenes — I haven’t had to go as deep into that before,” she told Tudum.

Lohan wed Bader Shammas in 2022. The following year, she gave birth to their son, Luai.

Ian Harding (Logan)

Prior to playing Avery’s former flame, Ian Harding was best known for his role as Ezra Fitz on Pretty Little Liars (2010–2017), for which he won seven Teen Choice Awards. He also appeared on the series Long Slow Exhale (2022) and played Phillip Davis on 11 episodes of Chicago Med. As for film, Harding appeared as Ford executive Ian in Ford v Ferrari (2019).

Harding has been with his wife, Sophie Hart, for over a decade, though they’ve kept details of their romance private. They married in 2019 and announced the birth of their first child in September 2022.

Kristin Chenoweth (Erica)

Star of stage and screen Kristin Chenoweth steals scenes as Cam and Cassie’s “meanie” mom, Erica.

She won Tony Awards for You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (1999) and On the Twentieth Century (2015), but she’s best known on Broadway for originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked. She’s also turned in celebrated performances on television shows like The West Wing (2004–2006) and Pushing Daises (2007–2009), the latter of which won her an Emmy.

Chenoweth previously dated writer Aaron Sorkin and actor Seth Green. She married guitarist Josh Bryant in September 2023.

Jon Rudnitsky (Cameron)

Jon Rudnitsky plays Avery’s new beau, Cam.

The actor and comedian had a brief tenure on Saturday Night Live between 2015 and 2016. He then moved on to more dramatic projects, including a turn in the dramedy Summer Days Summer Nights (2018) and playing McMatt in Hulu’s Catch-22 (2019).

Beyond additional big-screen roles in Home Again (2017) opposite Reese Witherspoon and Set It Up (2018) with Glen Powell, Rudnitsky has also appeared in two episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Katie Baker (Cassie)

Katie Baker, who plays Logan’s new girlfriend and Cam’s sister, previously had a minor role on Apple TV+’s remake of The Mosquito Coast (2022). She also made guest appearances on Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction and The Sex Lives of College Girls (2024).

Judy Reyes (Margaret)

Judy Reyes. 

Judy Reyes, who plays a longtime friend of Erica’s, is best known as loveable nurse Carla Espinoza on eight seasons of NBC’s medical dramedy Scrubs. Her other notable TV roles include Zoila Diaz on Devious Maids (2013–2016), “Quiet Ann” on Claws (2017–2022), and Ramona on One Day at a Time (2017–2020).

She guest-starred as Dina Milagro in Jane the Virgin (2015–2019) and made appearances on Succession (2018) and Dr. Death (2023). The actress notably played against type in the horror movie Smile (2022) and garnered acclaim for her role in Birth/Rebirth (2023). She is currently starring in ABC’s High Potential opposite Kaitlin Olson.

Reyes was previously married to cinematographer Edwin Figueroa. In May 2009, she gave birth to a daughter whom she shares with director Bruce Valencia.

Tim Meadows (Stan)

Tim Meadows plays Margaret’s husband, Tim.

Our Little Secret marks a Mean Girls reunion between Lohan and Meadows, who played Principal Duvall in the 2004 film. He reprised the role in the 2011 sequel and the 2024 musical film adaptation, the latter of which also saw a brief Lohan cameo.

Meadows is well-known for his tenure on Saturday Night Live (1991–2000), where he also served as a writer. His big-screen work includes movies like Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), Trainwreck (2015), and Dream Scenario (2023). He appeared in The Goldbergs from 2013 to 2023 and starred in his own spinoff, Schooled, from 2019 to 2020.

Meadows was married to Michelle Taylor from 1997 to 2005. They share two sons.

Dan Bucatinsky (Leonard)

Actor, producer, and writer Dan Bucatinsky stars in Our Little Secret as Erica’s unfaithful husband, Leonard.

He is best known for playing James Novak in Scandal (2012–2015), winning an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2013. Bucatinsky starred opposite Lisa Kudrow in the TV series The Comeback, which he also executive produced, and Web Therapy, directed by his husband Don Roos. On the big screen, he’s appeared in movies like Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), Second Act (2018), and Air (2023).

Bucatinsky married Roos in 2008. The two share a daughter, Eliza, and a son, Jonah.
