Deadpool & Wolverine x Avengers: Endgame crossover is insane in this fan-made trailer.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will return to the screens as their beloved characters Wade Wilson and Logan in the upcoming MCU film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Fans are super excited for the third Deadpool film after the previous two films built a huge fanbase for the ‘Merc with a Mouth’. There is an abundance of fan discussions, speculations, and fan-made art & trailers for the film, but a new trailer from a VFX artist fan has caught widespread attention.

The trailer is designed as a crossover between the new film in the MCU and Marvel’s biggest film, Avengers: Endgame. Fans get to see Deadpool and Wolverine join forces with the Avengers to take down Thanos.

Fans expect nothing short of high-octane action and mind-bending twists from Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool & Wolverine. Many X-Men and MCU heroes will be making appearances in this film, alongside characters from the previous Deadpool movies. Emma Corrin plays Cassandra Nova, the main villain in this story, while Matthew Macfadyen plays a TVA agent, Paradox.

While it remains a mystery as to which Avengers will be making cameos in the film, one fan has envisioned how the two X-Men heroes will be working alongside the Avengers. In a trailer made by @Captainsting, Wade Wilson and Logan travel through a portal to the final battle at the Avengers compound in the climax scenes of Avengers: Endgame. As Captain America calls for all Avengers to assemble, Deadpool and Wolverine also join them to fight Thanos’ army.

The iconic scene where Captain America wields Thor’s hammer is replaced by Deadpool wielding the hammer. He follows this scene with his usual foul-mouthed dialogue to Thanos, “Alright, you grumpy old skunk! Let’s settle this your way.”

According to his X handle, the creator Taran Singh is a VFX supervisor who has worked on projects like Power Rangers: Bloodline of the Grid. Singh wrote in the video description that he was inspired by the fan speculations that Deadpool and Wolverine will travel to different time points in the MCU history and bring their own twist to the events. While the speculation is unconfirmed, the creator’s imagination worked for the audience as they were impressed with the CGI work of the trailer.

@Captainsting took matters into his own hands when he found out that one iconic element of Wolverine from the comics was missing in the recently released trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine. The trailer didn’t show the masked version of the clawed hero, played by Hugh Jackman, despite showing him in his yellow suit from the comics. The fan added the mask/cowl using CGI and released a “mask edition” of the film’s trailer.

Fans showered their love for both the videos. @MCU_Portal praised the creator’s work, sharing, “DUUUDE!!! This is so awesome!! 👏🏻 🔥🔥🔥”. Another comment from @HussKanny, shared that he would be sold if “that’s really in the movie.” @AaronReid111 commented, “Yes that would be dope as hell.” Another comment from @Horrorview read, “Excellent work. Wow, can you imagine if this was how they ended the flick? I’d be stoked! :P”.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
