Lights, camera, jealousy! Dax Shepard shared his reaction to wife Kristen Bell’s steamy on-screen smooch with Adam Brody in Nobody Wants This at the New Yorker Festival in NYC on October 26.
“[My best friend, Aaron, and I] watched that scene together … which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” he told the crowd. “And he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that.”
While Dax was just joking, a source claims there is some truth to what the actor, 49, said. “That scene got to him,” dishes a source exclusively to Life & Style. “It made him jealous.” It probably doesn’t help that Kristen, 44, personally picked Adam, 44, for the role. “Fortunately, she and Dax are in a really good place now,” the source notes. “But Kristen is absolutely getting a kick out of Dax’s discomfort.”
