Prince Harry was directly asked by his estranged father, King Charles, to stop “leaking” personal details about the royal family’s private life, according to a report.
Harry and wife Meghan Markle sensationally shut the door on royal life in 2020 and hightailed it across the pond in a desperate search for privacy.
But soon after settling down in Montecito, California, the duo signed on the dotted line for a series of tell-all projects, each of which revealed bombshell details about the ongoing rift between both camps.
King Charles directly asked his estranged son Prince Harry to stop “leaking” personal details about the family’s private life, according to royal commentator Tom Quinn
After sitting down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on to release their six-part Netflix documentary, as well as Harry’s protocol-shattering memoir, “Spare.”
“And everyone knows that when a king asks you to do something, there are going to be consequences if you do not obey.”
Quinn continued, “Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim — to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends.”

“Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse, and in Harry’s case, that means more and more ties to his past being severed.”
Among the myriad of revelations in his book, Harry’s feelings for Queen Camilla, 76, were laid bare as he sensationally branded her “dangerous” and “the villain.”
“I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal P.R. altar,” he wrote.
He said that meeting Camilla — referred to as the “other woman” in his book — was like an “injection,” writing, “Close your eyes and you won’t even feel it.”

The revelations left Camilla “hurt,” her pal later revealed, and left a deep scar on the royal family, especially Charles.
More recently, Harry and the cancer-stricken monarch did not reunite when the Invictus Games founder was in town in May — even though they were just three miles apart. Harry returned to London to celebrate his organization’s 10th anniversary at the time.
“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” a spokesperson for Harry told The Post ahead of his travels.
Harry and the former “Suits” star will also not join Charles, Camilla, Prince William or Kate Middleton — who is battling her own cancer diagnosis — when the Trooping the Colour festivities kick off this weekend. As previously reported, the estranged couple were snubbed and not invited for the second year in a row.
