Kate Middleton's controversial uncle Gary Goldsmith 'iced out' after Meghan Markle remarks: report

Kate Middleton’s family has “iced out” her uncle Gary Goldsmith over his controversial decision to appear on “Celebrity Big Brother UK,” according to a report.

Goldsmith, the younger brother of the Princess of Wales’s mother, Carole Middleton, joined 12 other boldface names on the British reality TV show in March.

And just moments after settling into the house, Goldsmith wasted no time sharing his thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the world — leaving the Middleton family “infuriated.”

Kate Middleton’s family has “iced out” her uncle Gary Goldsmith over his controversial decision to appear on “Celebrity Big Brother UK,” according to a report.

“It was no secret that Gary going into the ‘Big Brother’ house wasn’t a particularly welcomed move,” a source told the Express.

“Gary was quite surprised by the reaction to his appearance on the show, especially afterwards. He decided that he had to get away and spend a few months in Ibiza.”

Among the myriad of controversial opinions Goldsmith shared during his short-lived time on the reality TV show, the 59-year-old publicly called for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to be stripped of their titles.

The comments reportedly left the Middleton clan “horrified,” and subsequently worsened the ongoing tension between him and Carole.

What’s more, Goldsmith was “surprised” by his sister’s outrage over his comments, and has since moved abroad to Ibiza, Spain, for the time being, the source adds.

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

As well as claiming that the “Suits” alum changed the royal family’s dynamics, Goldsmith also bizarrely claimed that Harry, 39, “will come back and be part of the gang again one day.”

“I have an opinion that Harry was really, really, really loved and when they were a threesome, so Kate, William, and Harry, they looked really comfortable together,” he told Sharon Osbourne, 71.

“Then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t genuinely think is there, and rewrote the history, saying how unhappy he was, and I just don’t think that’s fair,” Goldsmith said of Markle, admitting that he’s never met her.

Kate Middleton’s uncle’s comments reportedly left her relatives “horrified.”

“I mean you can’t throw your family under the bus in such a dramatic style, then write books about it and expect to be invited ’round for Christmas.”

“I think it’s really sad. At some point, I think he is going to come back and be a part of the gang again. He might need to,” Goldsmith went on. “We are a very forgiving nation; it would be nice if he did.”
