JoAnna Garcia Swisher is giving folks a look at two things she loves quite a lot — cooking and her husband, Nick Swisher!
The Sweet Magnolias actress and the former MLB star have been married since 2010, but the two are careful about how much they showcase their family life (which includes daughters Emerson Jay and Sailor Stevie) online. Well, fans got to see a rare moment of the couple in their element when JoAnna’s lifestyle company The Happy Place posted a video of the two in the kitchen on Instagram. As JoAnna whipped up her recipe for White Bean and Lemon Soup, viewers watched as Nick hung around to see about getting a first taste of his wife’s latest gourmet dish. What’s more, it was clear Nick adored what JoAnna made from his exuberant reaction to it.
“You know I love a good protein packed meal, and this soup checks all the boxes!” the caption read on February 18. “Save this for your next cozy night in or for an easy meal prep to have handy.”
When fans realized JoAnna and Nick played up their romance on Instagram, it didn’t take long for them to obsess over the rare display of affection.
“Love when hubby makes an appearance 🤭 too cute! Also, we NEED a cookbook!! 🔥,” one person wrote in the comments. “Love Swisher!!” another agreed. “Swish is so impatient I love it😂😍 Looks SO yummy!!” a different follower added.

We so love to see a couple support one another — especially in hobbies they both love! And despite keeping their love life under wraps, folks did see Nick celebrate his and JoAnna’s 14th wedding anniversary back in December with a heartfelt message to her.
“14 years of love, laughter, and the adventure of a lifetime!” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “@jogarciaswisher you are the heart and soul of our family and the best thing that has ever happened to me!
