Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Deadpool & Wolverine is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated films in 2024. The internet has been buzzing with excitement as the release date approaches, making fans restless for the return of the Merc with the Mouth alongside Logan.

A few weeks back the official trailer of the film teased the messy and action-packed dynamics between the two leading characters as they kept on fighting all the time. However, a new video rolled out recently somehow stopped Wolverine from fighting Deadpool.

No more clashes between Deadpool & Wolverine

On Monday morning, tickets for the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film were made available for purchase. The day was filled with many new advertisements promoting the Marvel movie. Actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were prominently featured in various interviews and videos, all strategically crafted to spark conversations about Deadpool & Wolverine.

Among these new ads was a promotion highlighting the film’s collaboration with Heineken, showcasing the two Marvel heroes as they endorsed the beverage. The ad depicts Deadpool and Wolverine about to engage in a fight, but Wolverine is unable to extend his adamantium claws. Deadpool then reveals that he used some of the adamantium to create something new.

This new creation turns out to be cans of Heineken Silver, described as a “world-class light beer for world-class bubs.” The scene closes with the two clinging their cans and the Merc with the Mouth says “Isn’t this better than fighting? almost putting his hand on Wolverine’s shoulder who replies “No”.

Well, it seems there is something that can stop Wolverine and Deadpool clash. This is one of the rare beer sponsorships for a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But it seems fitting for this superhero film, considering it is the first R-rated film in the franchise.

Ryan Reynolds yet again slams Hugh Jackman

Ryan Reynolds recently spoke to AP Entertainment about his upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine. During the interview, the actor was asked how he convinced Hugh Jackman to come back to the silver screen as Logan considering he retired from the character years ago and had no interest in returning. Hearing this, the Free Guy star did not waste time and instantly took a jibe at his costar.

Well, I mean, I think we all can now see that Hugh is a liar, you know? A bald-faced horrible coward and a liar. Here he is, back again. You’ll have to find out how he comes back, because that’s one of the most fun aspects of the movie.

Some fans enjoy the playful interaction between two grown men who are willing to act silly for social media, while others find their fake animosity repetitive. Nevertheless, it appears that their partnership is gaining momentum, especially with their upcoming collaboration. The release of Deadpool & Wolverine is anticipated to set new records when it hits theaters on July 26.
