Agatha All Along is coming to the screens soon with Aubrey Plaza, Kathryn Hahn, and some ultimate peak action!
After spectacularly stealing the show with her immaculate portrayal of Agatha Harkness in the fan-favorite WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn is all set to reprise her role in her own soon-to-hit-the-screens action series alongside Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal. That being said, details about the first trailer of this upcoming show have also been revealed recently along with the series’ seemingly final title.
Needless to say, Hahn and Plaza most certainly had viewers seated at the edge of their seats when the trailer (yet to go online) showed both of their characters in the most unexpected ways, building up even more anticipation among fans for the same. As for the title which has been changed multiple times previously, for now, it seems to be standing still at Agatha All Along.
Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza Will Take Your Breath Away With Agatha All Along
Recently, Disney’s Upfront presentation was held, where Kathryn Hahn, who plays the iconic titular lead in the upcoming series, revealed the current official title for the show as well as shared that it would be premiering with the release of two episodes on September 18.
But that’s not all, because some lucky viewers got to watch the currently publicly unreleased trailer for the same as well.
According to the details shared by IGN, Hahn and Plaza have some peak entertainment incoming for fans, considering how the trailer initially opened up with detective Harkness struggling with a murder case before the list of dates she is seen glancing at brings her across a rather familiar name in front of the date October 13: “W. Maximoff.”
This was followed by Aubrey Plaza‘s Rio Vidal appearing onscreen to ask Hahn’s character: “Is this really how you see yourself? That witch is gone, leaving you in a distorted spell. Claw your way out.”
That scene indeed had fans holding their breath because of Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch’s name being put out there, even increasing the possibility of her character returning by a massive margin.
But what came next was Harkness snapping out of it saying, “She took every bit of power had. I can be that witch again,” before everything shifted to a series of eerie sequences as Hahn vowed to walk the Witch’s Road and build her coven.
Then stepped in Patti LuPone‘s Lilia Calderu, who asks, “What witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness’ coven?” This was followed by Hahn’s witch coming back into action as she gasped at LuPone’s question before responding: “I’m not looking for right-minded witches.”
Judging from this description of the trailer, what we just might see could include Olsen’s Scarlet Witch returning and some incredible peak action and entertainment following as these two witches might be seen butting heads.
But even if Olsen’s character doesn’t return, the trailer has made it evident that Hahn and Plaza would be bringing about more than enough to entertain fans nonetheless.
That being said, if fans were only excited about this series before, this teaser description of the unreleased trailer along with the revelation of the two episodes premiering has further piqued their interest in it, with many of them expressing how they just can’t wait anymore for its final release.
Fans are Beyond Hyped for Agatha All Along Now
While the fans already have their eyes peeled open for any chance that they might see the Scarlet Witch pop back up once again, they are even more excited about Hahn reprising her iconic role in her own solo series.
That’s not all; some of them are even praising Marvel for planning such an excellent marketing strategy with all the title changes of the upcoming show.
All in all, here’s how they’re reacting to this news on X:
Well, now that fans know that it was Agatha All Along who’s been messing up everything, they just can’t wait for the series to finally hit streaming!
That said, don’t forget to tune in when Agatha All Along premieres its two episodes on the 18th of September, 2024, on Disney+.
