While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still legally married, sources say that Meghan’s team is looking for a publisher for a tell-all book about her life after a divorce. Reportedly Meghan has also made it clear that she won’t walk away without a title, property, and a hefty settlement.
Meghan’s exit strategy
Sources close to the couple revealed Meghan’s strategy for a potential separation, Markle has told her lawyers to negotiate a financial deal similar to what Sarah Ferguson received when she divorced Prince Andrew in 1996. The Duchess of Sussex has invested years into building her public persona and brand, and it seems she is determined to retain her royal title along with a significant financial cushion and property of her choice. Another source added, “She won’t go anywhere – unless it’s with a title, property, and a huge stack of money.”
Harry and Meghan are living separate lives
For several months, rumours are rife that Harry and Meghan have been living increasingly separate lives, which has led to speculation about the state of their marriage.
