Timothée Chalamet’s Harry Osborn in Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ might bring this ‘Black Panther’ star as Norman Osborn.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie series is expanding with another installment after the grand success of the third movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was the ultimate treat for Marvel fans. Now, the upcoming Spider-Man movie, as speculation dictates, is going to be more grounded with a bit of multiversal touch.

Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures' SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME.

If not multiversal, Spider-Man might go to its classic root, to its classic villains— Norman and Harry Osborn. New speculation recently suggested that fans could see Dune star Timothée Chalamet making his Spider-Man debut playing a villainous Harry Osborn and in this case, Kevin Feige might hire one MCU star again, this time for the role of Norman Osborn.

Potential Cast For Spider-Man 4

While there has not been much official information regarding the cast and plot details of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4, speculations surrounding the movie are on the rise. Previously, it was reported that Spider-Man 4 movie will be more grounded, focusing more on the street-level narrative while having a fine touch of multiverse which is kind of unavoidable considering it is MCU’s current saga.

Now, recent speculation suggests that Wonka and Dune star Timothée Chalamet is set to join the movie as Harry Osborn. Looking at Chalamet, Andy Serkis’ name would immediately appear in mind as Norman Osborn, and following the report, fans have already picked them as the cast for the respective roles.

Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue

Serkis has already made his MCU debut with Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015 playing the notorious supervillain and an international criminal and underground black-market arms dealer, Ulysses Klaue. Serkis later appeared in Black Panther and in the Disney+ series What If…?

Fans could easily see the duo playing the iconic characters in mind. Both Chalamet and Serkis have the prowess to play the characters. While Serkis is already cast in the MCU, he would not be a new actor to play the dual role in the superhero brand. Josh Brolin played Cable and Infinity Saga’s big bad Thanos and there are more examples of it.

Willem Dafoe and James Franco Are The Best Osborns

Willem Dafoe who has a series of masterful roles in his credit including Elias in Platoon and Jesus Christ in The Last Temptation of Christ immortalized Green Goblin. The titular Marvel villain also brought Dafoe’s career and fame to a new height. His portrayal of Norman Osborn in Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy is unmatched.

The Interview and 127 Hours star James Franco played Harry Osborn in the same trilogy and the actor also shined as well. So far, Dafoe and Franco have been the best Osborns in Marvel live-action, at least fans would clearly agree on this.

Dane DeHaan played Harry Osborn as Green Golbin in Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, the actor could not leave a mark among fans and it was far from Franco’s portrayal in comparison.

Dafoe’s Green Goblin made a spectacular return in Haolland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside Maguire’s Spider-Man. Fans immediately loved the nostalgic treat which may propel the MCU to stick to the Green Goblin story in the upcoming hyped sequel.

Spider-Man 4 does not have an official release date as of yet.
