Hulk Star Jennifer Connelly “Absolutely” Invested to Return to Marvel But Only for Another Avenger

MCU actress Jennifer Connelly wants to return to the MCU quite passionately!

Hulk Star Jennifer Connelly "Absolutely" Invested to Return to Marvel But Only for Another Avenger

Jennifer Connelly is an iconic actress who is known for voicing the character of Karen in the 2017 MCU film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Alongside the role, Connelly also portrayed the role of Betty Ross in Edward Norton’s 2003 film Hulk.

Having such a connection to the MCU, it stands to reason that Connelly wanted to return to the world of Marvel superheroes and villains. In a recent interview, Jennifer Connelly revealed that she would “absolutely” return to the MCU if this Avenger got another film!

Jennifer Connelly Wants To Return To The MCU!

And why wouldn’t she? Portraying an iconic role as Betty Ross and voicing the character of Karen in two Marvel films, Connelly is already familiar with the MCU. Plus, the actress is the wife of Paul Bettany, who portrays the role of Vision in the MCU!

In a recent interview, Connelly and his Dark Matter co-star Joel Edgerton talked about the MCU. In an interview with The Playlist, Connelly was asked whether she would once again be the voice of Karen in the MCU. Wanting to be a part of it, Connelly stated that she would love to voice that role again.

“I would absolutely work with them. I think that they make great films and my husband has had such a fantastic time working with all of them and they have such a great group of actors working with them. I would absolutely do it. “

However, for Connelly to voice the role of Karen, a new Spider-Man movie would have to be released and that is where the problem lies. With Tom Holland last seen as Spider-Man in the 2021 MCU film Spider-Man: No Way Home, there is no confirmed news that a Spider-Man 4 is in the works. On the other hand, Connelly revealed that despite starring alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, she’s deathly afraid of stunts or anything that feels like “someone could get hurt”!

Veteran actor Tom Cruise is known for doing all of his stunts on his own. Be it jumping off a plane or riding a motorcycle off a ramp, Tom Cruise is the man for the job. Starring alongside Cruise, Jennifer Connelly portrayed the character of Penny Benjamin in the 2022 film Top Gun: Maverick.

In an interview, the actress revealed (via The Sydney Morning Herald) that although she has seen it several times, she is deathly afraid of stunts. Trying to prevent any stuff that involves someone getting hurt, here’s what Connelly had to say about stunts and her rational fear of them.

“Anything that’s a little bit stunty, where you feel like potentially someone could get hurt, I find a little frightening, a little anxiety inducing. So it gave me a little shot of adrenaline doing that scene, worrying something could go wrong. But of course, nothing did,”

The scene that Connelly was referring to was a part of her 2023 film Bad Behaviour. The film had an intriguing storyline but received poor reviews upon its release. As for Connelly, the actress is part of Apple TV+’s show Dark Matter, which is slowly taking over all the other shows.
