As Deadpool & Wolverine soon coming to theatres, the best way to increase the hype of the film is for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman to build on their brilliant fake rivalry that they have been committing to for years. It seems they are leaning hard on it as part of the promotions for the film, as Reynolds has some not-so-cool things to say about Jackman.

While promoting his new film IF, Reynolds was asked about working with Jackman and him returning as Wolverine after previously retiring from the role. Reynolds hilariously called Jackman a liar and a bald-faced coward for not sticking to his word. He also teased how Wolverine’s arc in Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the fun parts of the film. The actor told AP Entertainment, “Now, I think, I think we all can see that Hugh is a liar, you know? He’s a bald-faced horrible coward and a liar. Uh, here he is, back again. You know, you have to find out how he comes back because that’s one of the most fun aspects of the movie.”

In addition to Jackman and Reynolds, the film will also star Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theatres on July 26, 2024.
